At Fledglings we understand that every child is unique and we will nurture each personality, enabling them to become self-confident and independent learners.
We follow each child's lead in play, helping them assess their own risks and explore their environment in all weathers, whilst developing their imagination through loose parts play.
What we Offer
Fledglings Pre-School runs out of Devonshire Infant School. We are open term time only and run two sessions across the day. A morning session from 8.45am to 11.45am and an afternoon session from 12.30pm to 3.30pm. A lunch club is also available between 11.45am and 12.30pm if required (numbers are limited).

What's going on at Fledglings!
We are please to announce that Fledglings have received the Bronze certification for using My Happy Mind. This helps the children learn how to regulate their emotions. We use Happy Breathing plus stories and songs to promote wellbeing in the setting.
We have also received our accreditation for Millie's Mark. This is a charity that looks for the Gold standard in First Aid. Our Pre-school have demonstrated that 100% of staff working directly with the children are trained in Paediatric First Aid and we are going above and beyond requirements to keep children safe.
